My Grandmother

To begin this story, I will tell you that my Grandmother passed away about 13 years ago.   When I was young she had asked me what I wanted to be when I grew up.  I told her some of my ideas, and although she encouraged me, she also let me know that she thought I was capable of much more and that I could do anything that I wanted to dream for.  Years later when she was gone, after marrying and having children of my own, I began a new job and was into one of the first days working on my own.  It was a job that involved balancing a lot of money, and I was having a very difficult time figuring it all out. I was very frustrated and didn't know what to do next. All of a sudden a complete calm came over me and I "heard" my Grandmother say "I'm proud of you" I didn't physically hear her but the message was loud and clear and straight from her. A complete peace came over me.  I found the errors I made and had a wonderful day.   Today this experience still fills me with wonder.  I know that my Grandmother is still with me, watching and keeping me well. If she would come to help me over something reletively unimportant in life's scheme of things she will be there for me when I need her most.
